Prête Thrift was created with one goal: to give discarded clothing a second story. Our goal is to make high-quality, affordable fashion accessible while reducing the waste created by fast fashion. Each item is selected for its condition, style, and potential to be re-loved, helping extend the life cycle of clothing that might otherwise go to waste.
Fast fashion has normalized overproduction and short-term trends, leading to harmful environmental and ethical impacts. Prête Thrift offers an alternative by encouraging thoughtful purchasing and supporting a circular fashion economy.

Sofia Nesmith is a 17-year-old high school senior from the San Francisco Bay Area with a love for personal style and meaningful fashion. What began as a simple habit of thrifting for herself turned into a growing collection of secondhand finds, sourced locally and while traveling.
Every piece in the shop is carefully chosen to give clothing a second life.
